Welcome To My World
Welcome to my little corner of the web. I'm a computer (tech, consultant, geek, nerd, aficionado). This is a simple place for me to share my interests, favorite tools, and current projects.
This website itself is yet another ongoing project. Thanks to weebly.com for offering this amazing tool. In a former life I have setup websites using Microsoft FrontPage (I know, old school), but this is nothing like FrontPage.
As for my professional life you can learn more about me here. However, this website is devoted to my personal interests. In many ways my personal and professional interests are the same. I'm blessed to not just have a career but an avocation.

Social Networking
I used to jokingly say I'm Anti-Social since you would not find me on any social networks. What! you say, you're a computer guy and not on a social network. I was probably the last hold out in my family.
In March 2011 after the Japanese earthquake, I broke down and joined Twitter. I was so impressed by hearing stories of how it has helped others keep up with quickly changing events. To follow me click or search for @DavidCocke in your favorite twitter client.
In July of 2011 I wanted to join Google+ so finally created a public Google Profile, but Google eventually abandoned their Google+ product. In October 2011 I joined Facebook as well (facebook.com/DavidLCocke). Initially, it was so nice to catch up with family and friends I haven't seen in years. Although I still have a Facebook account, I hardly ever login to it anymore. After being so annoyed with the constant interruptions and privacy concerns, I ultimately removed the Facebook apps from all of my devices.

Articles of Interest
As a busy professional, I've long depended upon RSS Feed Readers to keep up with various news articles and announcements from vendors we use. In 2021, I discovered Inoreader and highly recommend it. One of the many great features it offers is an ability for me to tag articles that I find interesting so that I can easily share them with others without clogging up their email inboxes. Below are some of the articles that I have flagged recently to share with my Team.
